About us

Academia de Filmes has produced entertainment, culture and interactivity content for 24 years. We have award-winning works recognized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences of Argentina, by the Festivals of Rio, Guadalajara, San Sebastian, São Paulo International Film Festival and Fiesp/Sesi-SP Cinema Award.

In cinema, Academia de Filmes has produced more than 20 movies, including “Legalize It – Friendship Never Dies” (currently in movie theaters), “I’ll Give You a Ride” (2017), “Tomorrow Never More” (2011), “Head on a Platter” (2009) and “Titãs – Life Looks like a Party” (2008). In addition to having co-produced “Elis” (2016) and “Clandestine Childhood”, Argentine nominee for the 2013 Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.

For TV, it has also produced and released the series “200 Degrees” (Discovery H & H), “I Dedicate You” (Art 1), “Natália” 1st and 2nd season (TV Brasil and Universal Channel), “Bent Lines” (PlayTV), “Love in 4 Acts” (TV Globo), “Future Champions” (Canal Combate), “Miracles of Jesus” (Record TV), “Spirit of the Fight” (Canal Combate). “The Kingdom Stone” (TV Globo), “Love Express” (TV Cultura) and “It’s All Improvisation” (Band), among others.

Currently, it’s finalizing “Batalha Makers Brasil” (Discovery Channel), an original format project that will be released in March 2019, and the second season of the documentary series “Spirit of the Fight” (Canal Combate).

We are responsible for branded content pieces for the internet and TV, video clips, and over 7000 advertisement films, which received several awards, such as Caboré, Professionals of the Year, Columnists Award, Fiap (Latin American Advertising Festival) and Clio.

We have also organized cultural and entertainment projects through our sister company Base7.
