The documentary covers martial arts practiced in isolated communities and indigenous tribes in the interior of Brazil. It analyzes the struggle in search of this culture’s origin. The production goes to Xingu (huka huka fight) and shows the marajoara fight, in Pará, as well as capoeira in Bahia. “Lutas Tribais” is also an immersion in the primitive paintings of Piauí, which show scenes of clashes in primitive Brazil.
