Inspired by the eponymous novel by Lourenço Mutarelli, the movie tells the story of a headhunter who brings a young singer to São Paulo in order to introduce her to a renowned maestro. They await the day of the hearing in a hotel room where between cigarettes and coffee, he tells their future by reading the warnings on the cigarette packs as if they were Tarot cards.
